Upgrade of Toyota Townace

Luckily for me, Dan was an auto electrician by trade and a born perfectionist. He showed me photos of how he painstakingly dismantled the interior and upgraded just about everything except for the engine.

The back of the van showing the a totally stripped out interior and the stainless steel 20L water tank. No plastic tasting water here.

Dan installed better than household grade electrics (being an electrician himself) and the fiberglass insulation in the wall panels.

The new vinyl in place and the 2 x 75AH Optima deep cycle maintenance free batteries. Dan paid $750 each for these and they are reputed to be the best in the business.

The Space where the fridge goes. Dan replaced the stock fridge with the Engel 40L SB47F. This model draws a mere 0.5 - 2.5 amps and is capable of maintaining ice blocks in any heat.

The back of the van with components installed. You will notice nice touches with the halogen lights and back speakers.
